The Story Behind Trillium 119

The Great White Trillium is my personal favorite sign that winter is behind us. Blooming in woodland areas all along M-119 in the thousands the ground is blanketed it them for a short period. They don't last long and turn a pale pink at the end of their life. This pattern was created by taking a series of photos during the height of their bloom and then bringing those photos into an iPad, using Procreate to draw the elements. The images were then brought into Illustrator so the elements could be arranged and the colors chosen. Trillium-119 in this classic colorway mixes and matches with a wide variety of patterns and makes the perfect addition to any cottage, cabin, or lakeside home. Need a custom scale or colorway? Trillium 119 is available through our Spoonflower shop right here. You can order fabric by the yard, wallpaper, and 20+ home decor products like bedding, pillows, napkins, tablecloths, and more.

*If you are ordering fabric or wallpaper we recommend ordering a sample first before investing in a larger quantity. Spoonflower makes that very simple with samples of both wallpaper and fabric available.

*And pro-tip make sure you order multiple samples with different wallpaper types and fabric bases if you are not positive about which fabric or wallpaper you will be using in your final choice. The pattern does look and feel slightly different depending on what material it is printed on.
